Simon Rowlands - Head Chef
Simon Rowlands aka ( Rowlands ) was bought up on the Wirral in Parkgate and he can't think of a good reason to leave such a lovely place, or a bad reason to visit!! Simon spent 3 years at catering college in Liverpool learning the ins and outs of cooking and the trade. He has since worked his way up through the ranks from the Boat House to the Goshawk now settling at The Egerton.
Greg Hancock - General Manager
Greg joined the team back in 2006 to open up The Boat House, moving then to The Golden Lion he now leads the team at The Egerton. Always up for a new challenge Greg can often be found on his days off with his family & dog to hand exploring a new place!
Chris Price - Assistant Manager
Chris is our latest member to the full time team & we
are already delighted to have him. Having done a stint at The Boat House, Chris is now
settled in & raring to go at The Egerton Arms.
Sarah Gaskell
Joining us at
The Golden Lion back in early 2006 Sarah has grown up with the company through the years. Most recently Sarah has achieved her NVQ level 3 - a fantastic achievement!
Brian Hodgkiss - Sous Chef
"Danger" is Woodward & Falconer
through & through! Having started at The Golden Lion, Brian then
moved to The Boat House
& most recently The Goshawk.
Now moving to The Egerton Arms nearer his home will this be Danger's biggest
challenge to date?
Alan Davies - Sous Chef
Alan, our latest local lad, joins the team at The Egerton. Alan spent a glorious 6 months in Rome working in a Michelin Star restaurant after his finishing apprenticeship at Carden Park (just around the corner!).
Alan is a keen Liverpool fan passing the time between games with his Muay Thai martial arts training. What a fearful combination!
